This website is maintained by Borden Golf Club to provide club information to members and guests of the club.  Borden Golf Club is a division of the Department of National Defence and is operated under and in accordance with the policies of the Personnel Support Association and Non-Public Funding.   Your privacy is important to Borden Golf Club and this policy is our commitment to the protection of your privacy and any personal information you disclose to us.

Collection and Use of Personal Information:

We collect personal information such as name, address, and other contact information such as date of birth, occupation, rank, membership status, usage and sales statistics, and other information pertaining to your enjoyment of the club's facilities.  Contact information is displayed in the club roster at the option of individual members.  Information maintained by the club is used for billing purposes and to notify members from time to time regarding club activities which may be of interest.  We allow members to sign-up, via the club website, for particular interest groups and provide information relative to these groups via email.  In planning our programs and events we use the information wh have gathered with respect to your usage of the club website and golf course facilities via  the club's tee booking system.  Club information is shared with other members of the club's managment team to assist in the successful operation of the club.  This information is not shared with anyone other than the club's administration except in summarized format that precludes the identification of any individual member.

Our website collects Internet Protocol Addresses for the purpose of system administration, to gather broad demographic information and to audit the use of our Web Site.

Access to portions of the website are controled by an access code, password or email address.  This control allows the club to identify the user on the website in survey's, discussion groups, and otherwise control users' website access.  Members in some instances may be assigned to specific groups on the website.  These groups categorize website interests for internal marketing purposes.  Personal contact information displayed on this website is protected and for club use only.  Members may control the information displayed by editing thier profile which is accessible once they have signed on.  Members are permitted to use personal contact information contained within this site for non-commercial use only.

All members have access the club website and to the personal information that they have chosen to allow us to display.  The club does not permit non-members to have access to personal information stored on the website.  The club considers the unauthorized sharing of member infomation to be a serious breach of members privacy.  Members violating this policy will be subject discipline in accordance with the bylaws of the club.

Borden Golf Club makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of contact informtion stored in its files and on the website.  Members can and should review and update their contact information on the website as required.  Changes made to your profile are emailed automatically to the Administrative Assistant at Borden Golf Club.  The Administrative Assistant can be contacted via the following email address:
